We had to cut each piece individually because, well, the studs aren't exactly 16" on center (because the floor joists in the house aren't 16" on center either..)
By the way, this stuff is great to use on the floor under a sheet of ply when cutting the ply with the circular saw. I can't cut ply when elevated on anything (sawhorse, table) because my body is just too short to extend much of a reach. I can probably safely cut 2 feet, and that's it. Arms are just too short. But on the floor, I just kneel and can cut anything.
So here is my nice 4'x8' shop-sheet all cut up being sacrificed for the house because we didn't buy enough. |
