Backfilling the holes is tricky at first because it is very easy to move the sonatubes.
We created this brace, keeping the tube in position. The brace can be removed when bigfoot is covered, but we wait until the hole is about 1/2 full before removing it.
Edit: For the last few posts, we had a better idea than this. It is better to put some rocks on bigfoot in the bottom of the hole. We discovered this when some of the sonabutes had shifted on the bottom instead of the top, which made 2 of our concrete posts slightly angled. |
