You can google until your blue in the face about the texture of fully mixed concrete, but you never know what it really looks like. After a few mixes we discovered that the trick was to add a blender's worth of water, and then a bit more with the hose until the back of the concrete mixer stayed clean while turning. So basically, add enough water to just start seeing the back of the mixer while it's turning, then you are good to go. If stuff still sticks to the back, add a bit more water. |
