Day 24
Today we put up the header (in blue) and as many joists as we can.
First, we temporarily screwed the header under the ledger, and transfered the joist position marks to it.
Then we had to put up a couple of joists first, because our header has to be made from 2 pieces (there were no 18f long boards), and we have to nail them to something. |
