What's New
The new features in v4.5 of Audience relate to Audience.billboard:
Administrators now have the option to set a user's navigation to graphical. Use when the user has access to multiple zones. See Navigation Style
Some templates in Billboard can be used to post messages automatically to both digital signage (or tv) and twitter. This is a great way to increase the audience by targeting those who aren't near the playbacks.
The Moneris Payment System is fully integraged into Billboard such that users can pay to create content automatically. No payment information is ever stored on Billboard servers - everything goes through Moneris.
Features:
- Monaris account link
- Price can be set on a template by template basis
- Initial price plus optional renewals price can be defined on a template by template basis
- Automatically send renewal reminder e.mail to user when their ad has expired.
Administrators can create groups of members that share membership qualities, including:
- user types / permission levels
- navigation methods and template entry styles
- permissible keywords
- permissible magazines and templates
When a change is required the Administrator can modify the group settings rather than modifying each individual member of the group.
Groups can also be used to allow the general public to post messages quickly. A user can sign-up from the designated main page and immediately join a group and post messages according to that group's permissions.
There is now the ability to define a template as ‘multi page’, where a group of pages are treated as one within the Billboard import form. One of the photo elements within the template can be designated as the ‘multi page’ photo. You can choose the number of page you create and the total duration of the sequence. On the template input form, there will be an image upload control for each of the pages in the sequence.
This feature is a quick method to create corporate training content, or real-estate listings with multiple photos of a property, or advertisements.
This feature, combined with the Moneris Payment feature and the new Voice-over feature, is very handy for high quality self-service advertising.
