Apply a Plugin to a Template
Audience.foundation supports plugins for even more scheduling options. Plugins work in conjunction with Audience.foundation’s normal scheduling, in that they further specify an existing schedule.
For example, a page scheduled to play on Mondays may also be scheduled to play only when the temperature is above a certain threshold by using a plugin. That page will play only on those Mondays where the temperature meets the threshold.
All plugins work with Audience.playback.tv and Audience.playback.sign systems.
The most popular plugins work with Audience.playback.android. (The full list is in the Android.playback menu).
There is limited support of plugins for Audience web systems.
- The Expire and the Keywords plugins are installed on all web based systems by default.
- If you have a schedule based plugin and want to use it with an Audience web-based systems contact Technical Support .
- Double click on a and go the Schedule tab.
- Select the new icon next to Plugins, use the drop-down arrow to display the list of plugins and make your selection.
- Click on the Dialog button to open that plugin’s interface and fill in the required fields.
All future pages created using the template will inherit the plugin.
Note: Note: Editing the page details section of a template does not affect pages previously created using the template. Only future pages created using the modified template inherit the changes.
