Change the Look of a Screen

You may want to change the appearance of a screen for specific purposes. Perhaps you want the screen background to have a more festive look during the Holiday Season, or you need to resize a zone.

• To modify the look of a screen, duplicate a screen and change the screen background in the duplicate. Content from the original screen is copied, not linked, during the duplication process, which means that any new content created on either of the screens is for that screen only.

• To permanently change the look of the screen without duplicating, change the screen background (right click on screen and select Properties). This re-creates all pages with their new zone backgrounds. This option is not recommended unless tested on a duplicate first. Also, this process takes a few minutes, and will display on-air if done to the original on-air screen! Backup the playback before proceeding. See Manage Schemes and Backups with ScreenWizard.
