Resize and Move Zones

You can only resize and move zones in a playback that is not currently on-air. Go to the on-air playback drop-down menu (top right) and select a different playback (or “none”). You can then modify the zones in any other playback.

If you have overlapping zones and would like to focus on the zone being resized or moved, you can hide other zones from being displayed in the screen view or in the navigator view. Right click and select View Zone Layers. Uncheck the zones you want to hide.

Do not resize and move zones that are referenced from other screens or playbacks, as this will affect the original zones in those screens or playbacks.

Resize a Zone

1.Select the screen in the directory tree.

2.Left click on a zone to select it in the right pane. If you have multiple zones and want to display only some of them, right-click and select View Zones Layers, and select the zones you want to display.

3.If the padlock icon appears on the zone, right click on the zone and select Unlock.

4.Place the cursor on one of the tiny boxes surrounding the zone, until the cursor turns into a double arrow. Resize as required.

5.When you are satisfied, lock your zone: right click on it and select Lock.

6.Select one of the magazines in the affected zone or select the affected zone in Navigator to refresh the content in that zone.

Zones cannot overlap on web systems (including stand-alone Audience.playback.web systems). If you are resizing a zone when 'Allow Overlap' is unchecked, and the zone is bumping up against another zone, you will have to resize that other zone as well, even if just temporarily.
