About Templates

A template is like a ‘master’ page used to quickly create similar pages. Templates are zone specific, but you can copy a template from one zone to another (they are rescaled automatically to fit the new zone). Because templates belong to a zone, any new magazine created in that zone will have access to the zone's templates.

When creating a template, you need to establish what common elements and settings all the pages created with it will share. Then use CorelDraw and Audience.foundation to make those elements and settings inherent in the template.

New pages created with a template inherit all the properties of the template (except targets). Some of those properties are created in CorelDraw while other elements are created directly in Audience.foundation’s Page Details Pane. See Templates and Pages: Linked or not Linked for details.
