Allowing Local Content on a Remote Playback

If you require local content to be created on a remote playback, modify the setting in magazine properties on the Master Audience.foundation system as follows:

1.Create a new magazine on the Master Audience.foundation system.

2.Right click on the magazine that will have remote local content, select Properties and then the Audience.sync tab.

3.Check the playback button, or the Gather/Server button if the computer is a Gather/Server (see Gather Server Mode for information).

Create Local Content on the Remote Playback

  • When the remote playback is another Audience.foundation system, changes to the content of the magazine are made directly in that magazine using the Audience.foundation system.
  • When the remote playback is a playback system rather than another Audience.foundation system, local users can still create their own content using Audience.billboard. They can post messages (create pages) into the 'local' magazines over the web, and depending on their Audience.billboard member status those messages may immediately be added to the magazine's playlist, or they may be queued for Administrator approval. See Audience.billboard|topic=Audience.billboard for more information.

Changes made to the local magazine on the remote playback system will be respected by the master system.
